Registered Nurse Job announced. The mainly function of this job is to provide aid to our Veterans from a community facility to a VA Facility. The VIRS (Veterans Integrated Referral System) serves as a clinical aid between VA and non-VA healthcare providers who manage Veterans healthcare if the hospitalization is needed.
Location: Walla Walla, WA
Pay Scale and Grade: VN 00
Salary: $61,898 to $111,346 per year
Appointment type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Travel Required: Not required
Responsibilities of VIRS RN:
Performing the clinical review of the medical reports of the hospitalized patients.
Manage the complex medical needs of the patient.
Should possess the qualities of leadership, experience and should know how to approach the patient.
Should provide care in the most effective and friendliest way.
Educate the staff and veterans about the rights and responsibilities of the medical services.
Providing the patients comfort for needed services such as, respiratory, prosthetic, primary care etc.
Employment Conditions:
The person applying must be a citizen of U.S.
The drug test will require.
A probationary period must be served.
Will be subjected to background and security investigation.
The person applying must be an expert in written and spoken English.
The pre-employment physical exam must be passed.
Should be a permanent employee of Walla Walla VAMC.
