New wave of feminism and our cultures

Wave of feminism in our cultures generally described as norms values customs and somehow living style of any civilization or society. Feminism is such a prospective and phenomena which has great influence on develop and underdeveloped countries after the 20th century. Since 16th century to 20th century, the feminism was considered as movement which had rightly started for the fundamental rights of women. The origin of feminism was pallor politics, Italy and France. After French revolution, this movement got strength because; western women were not getting their fundamental rights. Holy Roman Catholic crush had great i fluency upon whole Europe. And the pops did not allow to women to perform there religious obligations even.

Wave of feminism Era

So ultimately, with the passage of time, and at the time of French revolution, western women thought to take their rights from their counterparts. Because the industry of bread and dairy was in the hands of women. They decided to go on strike. This incident was the initiative of famines practically. After French revolution, the second wave of feminism gave birth of new term and ideology; men feminism. Here, under this, men claimed that, only women are not suffering in society but men also… the thirds wave of feminism gave birth to concept to LGBT’s. And queer theory originated.

What is Feminism?

But Marxist feminism and liberal feminism changed the dilemma of feminism and the now wave of feminism took place as post modern feminism. Now in the 21st century, with a rapid influence of globalization, the feminism took turn towards new meanings. Now it considered as #absolute freedom. Hash tag me-too movement, women empowerment movements etc are the lively example of new wave of feminism. Hence this new wave of feminism has changed the concept and motive of true feminism. Feminism was actually a movement, neither a term nor phenomena. It was coined just to have fundamental rights of men, women, lesbians, gays, Trans genders and bi-sexual.

Conclusion

So, as concerned to our culture, west and east has difference in their norms, customs traditions etc. During I west, on the name of liberalism and feminism women have liberty to do whatever she want. After 18 years she z free from the restrictions of her parents. Therefore is religion is personal matter. On the same pages, people have right to do anything by hook r by crook. They never consider about their deeds as sins. That’s why, ratio if sexual harassment, rape, illegal births, divorces etc cases are increasing rapidly day by day. Now it is leaving a worst impact on our culture.

As Pakistan is an Islamic state, where every rule of law makes under the light of Quran and Sunnah. Religion is a matter of society. In past, every single deed, which is done very openly in west, happened behind the smoke screen. But after the new wave of feminism, and globalization , with the culture exchange, our norms get change very quickly. Now this new concept of feminism in emerging in our society, socially culturally. Economically Women are making decisions by their own. They have started to work in fields. They have started to earn own source of livelihood. . But with respect of religious culture, still our middle class is not owning feminism.
