Selling my 2009 Audi A8L (Long Base model) for parts. VIN WAUMV94E79N000894. It has 189,863 miles, and I bought the car in 2015 with about 80,000 miles and am the 3rd owner. It is a non-smoking car and well-maintained at a certified garage. A picture of the original sticker is included. The AC blows cold, the engine runs strong, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car also has the rarely optioned solar sunroof. Over time, two front struts were replaced, along with the air suspension compressor, TPMS controller, water pump, fuel filter, and, more recently, the power steering pump, one high-pressure fuel pump, and other parts. Two years ago, the engine was replaced due to coolant being found in the oil, and I was told the new engine had ~119k miles on it. The oil was changed regularly (every 5,000 miles), and the spark plugs (NGK) were replaced last year. The car has been parked in the garage for three months. I ran it recently, and a warning sign for the air suspension came up. The two pictures taken in May and February (at the same mileage) were included, and the picture from February did not show this warning sign. So, something happened when the car was parked. It sits a little lower on the front, but does not sag completely, and has maintained its level, as shown in the pictures. The telescopic/tilt steering wheel control does not work. The steering does not work even though the power steering pump was replaced, so the car needs to be trailered because of this, as well as the suspension. The adaptive light adjustment stopped working after the car wash. The car is selling for parts and as-is. You can either fix it or use it for parts, as there are plenty of parts in good working conditions, such as the engine, transmission, other drivetrain bits, wheels, windows, windshield, solar-panel sunroof, interior panels, and some of the seats. It has original 255/45/-18 wheels, 12-speakers BOSE surrounding sound system with Audio Pilot, Audi Navigation system with DVD, 6-disk changer and more. I have the title and two keys.
The car is located in Phillipsburg, NJ, and must be transported. Please make sure you have arrangements to pick the car up on a trailer before sending an offer.
